Building Accountability Committww
What is a Building Accountability Committee (BAC)?
As a taxpayer, a parent, a community member, and/or a school/district employee, you have a right to know about, and be involved with the inner workings of Peyton Jr.-Sr. High School. In the interest of fiscal transparency, ethical practices, academic rigor, and a desire to continue to provide excellent educational services to our students. We invite parents to join our Building Accountability Committee
The committee consists of Peyton Jr.-Sr. High School administration, teachers, staff, parents, and community members who are interested in learning more about, and contributing to, the major decisions that shape the educational culture and future of our building. We invite you to join us on the 1st Wednesday of each month, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the office conference room to help promote the ongoing success for all students at Peyton Jr.-Sr. High School.
The Building Accountability Committee is an advisory committee, not a governing body, that advises the principal on school performance, budget priorities, and parental engagement. The purpose of the committee is to inform, encourage and provide opportunities for parent and community members to be involved in the planning and evaluation of the school’s instructional program, school safety, improvement processes, and strategic plan.
