Vacancy Notice – Long-Term Substitute Algebra/Geometry Teacher.  Peyton Jr.-Sr. High School is accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Algebra/Geometry Teacher starting in mid/early December, ending March 23, 2023.


Vacancy Notice – Woods Manufacturing Teacher.  Peyton Jr.-Sr. High School is accepting applications for a Woods Manufacturing Teacher for the 2022/2023 school year. Candidates must be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License with appropriate endorsements or be eligible for the State Pathway to CTE Licensure. Other extracurricular activities may be a possibility with this position. Vacancy Notice – BUS DRIVERS & SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Transportation Director for providing safe and efficient
transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district’s
curriculum and extra curricular programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Possession of or ability to obtain Colorado Class B P2S Commercial Driver’s
License.
• Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Successfully complete training program for bus driver.
• Meets all qualifications for Bus Driver
• Drug and Alcohol testing prior to and during employment
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The Transportation Director establishes workday base on
needs. $17.50 per hour after training.

Vacancy Notice – Custodians (one 32-hour and two 40-hour positions available) – Applicant must be able to stand for long periods; kneel, stretch, and bend; and pick up 50 lbs. Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, mopping, shoveling snow, and cleaning bathrooms, classrooms, and gym locker rooms. Hours and days will always vary. Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching in Peyton School District.  We have a need for half-day  (7:15-11:30 or 11:30-4:00) and full-day subs (7:15-4:00).  Once you have received your CDE substitute teacher license, download and fill out out our Substitute Teacher Application and drop it off to the district administration staff in the Career Technical Education Facility (18320 Main Street, Peyton, CO 80831).  Once all of your credentials have cleared, the district administration staff will notify the school secretaries and you will be added to the substitute teacher list to be called in times of need.
